Thomaz Krause
Founder & Creative Director
DAYS is led by Thomaz Krause, a designer with nearly three decades in the field. He found design as a career in 1997, during a university project building a visual identity and logo — the first time he saw it as more than a skill. Early work in a digital production house, making banners and online communication as the web took off, was where he stopped simply executing pieces and started thinking about the impact of the work.
His formative years came through close work with Natura and a mentor who shaped how he thinks about branding — that design is not decoration but strategy, positioning and the construction of meaning. Contributing to the Natura Ekos portal, a project of real scale and visibility, set the bar for the level he wanted to work at. Over time he moved deeper into technology and innovation, drawn to environments where he could keep learning — and DTC became the focus because it combines creativity, business and scale, where you can build global brands, test fast and measure design's impact in close to real time.
